Sarà dunque la coppia McIlroy–Burns a chiudere il terzo round. Il nordirlandese parte con un vantaggio significativo, ma la pressione del weekend di Augusta resta elevata. Attenzione anche al penultimo flight con Patrick Reed e Justin Rose, oltre al gruppo Lowry–Fleetwood, tutti ancora in corsa per il podio.
Occhi puntati anche su Scottie Scheffler, in campo alle 12:16 con Ludvig Aberg, e su Jon Rahm, partenza alle 9:53. Entrambi dovranno recuperare terreno per rientrare nella lotta per la vittoria.
